That's it...WE WON!!!

I can barely define the shape of this moment in time...

It's the coming of age of the youth brigade. The only part that sucks is that Greg Chappell started this process, and got unceremoniously dumped. Enough of selfish arses like Gangs and Tendu. We should stick with this team, and just add Zaheer, Dravid and Laxman for the Tests, and Zaheer for the shorter versions.

I can't wait to see Yuvraj, Utthappa, Rohit Sharma and Raina man the off side area. Pathan gives the team a very balanced look too. These are good signs.

You forgot, dump Agarkar :)

Actually even I don't want to see Gangs and Tendu back in the team. Any team...

Uttappa's technique is a little suspect, he needs improvement, but mental makeup is good...like that.

Sreesanth is going through a slump...sprays the ball all over and is not accurate enough. He needs to improve big time. Needs to go back to MRF and Dennis Lille academy.

Pathan is my favorite player. He got caught in a mess (for that I blame Chappell mostly) but has made a terrific comeback. In slow motion replays you can see how beautifully he is changing the grip of the ball, just as he is about to take the jump to bowl. Poetry...I wish he continues to improve...

Fielding is really top notch by our own Indian standards but overall the team needs to improve the outfield fielding. Speed and power in the outfield is missing...

Oh yeah, of course. But it's a given that Agarkar played his last game for India. He was always a waste. Even when he took wickets, they were usually very costly.

Don't go over board with Pathan's bowling man. He is ok. He didn't swing it as much as he used to. And he needs to bowl around 145 kmph to be effective. But he has definitely picked it up a notch.

I still feel Raina is the best technically of all the youngsters. His back foot play is top notch; signs of a really good player.

True about Pathan...he should become as good as that Umar Gul...

Batting is suspect at places...but overall suits fine for the 20-20 version. For ODIs and tests it is a different story. Let's see what happens now against Australia. It will be a good test...
